I just bought this Samsung 128 GB USB drive to plug into my Nvidia Shield TV and use as adopted storage. I wavered back and forth between a MicroSD (which I currently have), a USB drive, or an SSD with a USB adapter and settled on the USB flash drive.
Anyway, my question is basically can I reliably use a flash drive in a USB hub as adopted storage? I really want to (semi)permanently expand my storage but don't want to lose the ability to plug in a USB controller, wireless mouse & keyboard, etc.
Thanks!
It has two ports. Why not use one for directly plugging in a storage device and the other for a hub with peripherals attached?
