You view on the TV, sky as a separate input?
Assuming from the use of 'Sky' that you're in the UK?
The All4 app doesn't support android TV, only way I get it to work is to just cast from the app. Demand 5 and ITV hub are also unsupported. At least that's how it is on my Shield.
Did you get an answer to this?
We don't have a tv ariel connection in our house. We've only used Smart TV on our Samsung, Windows and Android boxes for years and so don't have to pay a TV licence (this is explained on the iPlayer website).
I recently bought the Sony TV and I can't get ITV Player, 4OD etc to work because they seem to run through the YouView app, which requires an arial to set up. Is this correct? I don't have an arial and even if I did, it would be illegal for me to plug it in.
Please tell me that I don't have to pay £150 a year for a TV licence that I legally need just so I can stream free media.
