hey guys i recently bought a Sony 65' with AndroidTV built in, i downloaded Chrome to it but it's totally unusable with both the remote it came with and the remote app, i want to sideload some apps too but if i cant even get Chrome to work i doubt i'll be able to sideload anything. any recommendations on a good not so expensive mouse/keyboard that works good with my tv
Practically any wireless USB or Bluetooth keyboard should work. I have this keyboard for my HTPC: http://amzn.com/B002H0BOBA I got it at a local Fry's a few years ago, and I don't think it was that expensive. You could probably find something better and cheaper if you look around a bit.
Another option, if you have an Android or iOS phone or tablet, is to use Sony's Video & TV Sideview app. It has a remote built into the app, which will let you use the phone / tablet keyboard.
A third option, which I haven't done but have thought about, is to get a DualShock 4 controller. That should pair with the TV, and should be a little easier to use with the on-screen keyboard than the remote.
I don't have a Sony tv but if it has a USB port for accessories I'd look at the Logitech k400 plus. There is a more expensive Bluetooth and USB model called the Logitech k830.
