Hey all, I've been having an issue over the past several weeks. I'll be watching hulu and then the screen just goes black. I have to exit or if the show (not the app) and click resume, the it works again. It's random when it happens, but I can't find anything in any. It's an Nvidia Shield and it doesn't happen while watching Netflix or HBONow... Any ideas of what may be the issue?
Yeah, same thing has been happening for me on the Nexus Player. Just Hulu. Only seems to happen if I watch more than one video.
Same thing was happening here. Do you have Sling installed? My shield was randomly pausing its self and found a post and someone said that it was the sling app that was causing the issue. I uninstalled sling and things have been much better since.
If you do use sling... I would just chromecast sling to my tv when I want to use it and not use the native app.
Yep, Same thing happened to my Shield too but not recently. I was lazy to troubleshoot because it only happened a couple of times now.
One obvious troubleshooting tip is to reinstall hulu. Let me know if you find any solution.
