Was Xiaomi referring to Android VR, instead of Android TV that many of us were hoping for? The symbols look like the Android VR controller.

They did tweet an image of a combo move so it makes sense that they were referring to VR, looking at the first image I can see how the shapes could be the VR controller now.
Hugo also tweeted this during the keynote.
Shape matches, button placement is different. Who knows.
