My first impression is that this has to be a $69 device. No Ethernet port, 8GB of storage and what looks to be a row of special placement for apps all work to lower what is be willing to pay for one.
I'm much more likely now to sit back and wait to see if this"new Nexus Player" that was mentioned in the Disney press release about their apps coming to Android TV has anything better to offer.
Honestly with Netflix, this is still better than the Forge right now.
I want to want this device, but the 8gb storage is a major let down.. I'm running a NP right now and am constantly running into space issues (due to installed games) and the expandable memory via USB is a very clunky solution
I was interested until I saw no ethernet. I have never gotten 1080 blueray rips to stream nicely over Wifi to a set top box let alone 4k.
Ouch, I was hoping they'd launch very soon as right now with Nexus Player stock being so low right now there's no cheap AndroidTV STB option at all.
