They should have set up a VPN, but then again, if a business is using Popcorn Time, they're just asking for it.

"Copyright theft" is a weird term. It sounds like you are stealing the copyright rights from someone so that you are now the rights holder.
"Intellectual property theft", now that sounds like what they mean.
