Just like it says on the title, I'm curious as to which Android TV Devices people own. I myself own a Shield and Nexus Player. I like the Google Cast capability as well as the ease of use with Netflix and the like.

I have a NP and recently got my Shield TV. The Shield TV is pretty much flawless. Definitely a $200 experience compared to the $40 I paid for my NP. I don't think I've experienced any lag in doing anything on the Shield TV. Currently trying to configure my emulators on it. I like that it also has twice the storage as the NP, and has USB3.0 ports to add a flash drive for more internal storage. It comes with a gamepad, but I also got the remote for free. It's sleek as hell, like a solid thin piece of machined metal, really solid compared to the plastic clicker that came with the NP. And the gamepad and remote for the Shield TV have headphone jacks for private listening! My biggest gripe would be a very minor one: there's a row for "Geforce" apps in the launcher and it sits above the games row, which is above the other apps, so organization in the launcher isn't that intuitive. They also shove the Netflix app in that Geforece row for some reason.

YouTube and Plex are just a couple extra clicks away but they're my most used apps, so they should really be made the quickest ones to get to in my opinion.
I have a Sony 1080p Android TV. For some reason, HBO Now does not support 5.1 surround.
Sony 55X930D I've had it 2-3 months. No problems. I love the tv. I hope Google Assistant will work with it. It's still on Android 5
Well now, a lot of you have the TV sets which is interesting since I expected far less of these sets to be listed here. And this seems to be a Forge free zone too. Shield is universally loved here too. Thanks everyone and keep em coming.
Aren't those pretty much the only Android TV devices? There's plenty of TVs with ATV built in, but those two and the Forge TV are the only set top boxes out to my knowledge.
I own 2 nexus players and a Shield.
Purchased my first nexus player back in October (i think), when they started to go on clearance here in Canada for about $69.
I then purchased a second one a couple weeks later for another TV.
Fast forward to the end of November when the Shield $149.99 + free remote deal popped up. I really wanted a Shield, so I bought that.
Now I use my Shield on my main TV and one of the Nexus Players on the other TV.
My other Nexus Player sits in a box, going unused. I guess it'll be handy to have in case something dies.
I love my Shield. I would definitely replace my other Nexus Player with another Shield, but it's just too expensive to bother when I mostly only use that Nexus Player for Kodi.
Shield TV is the only Android device I own. It does everything you can ask for. Plays every kind of video file over network shares (Kodi), Live Cable TV (HD Homerun + Live Channels app), Emulators (NES, SNES, Genesis, etc), Netflix, Hulu, HBO and all the rest.
Have 2 adt-1 devices. I use them all the time for streaming, and they rarely have problems. Although I wish I had a voice remote instead of the game pad.
Nvidia Shield tv, best streaming device I've ever owned.
I own a Sony xbr55x850c, and I hate it. It's absolute garbage, and I am never buying anything AndroidTV related again.
Maybe it's Sony's implementation of it, but the apps crash constantly. Updates are slow to come up (months between updates). Wifi drops off constantly, and I have to manually remove the remembered network, readd it and input the password again. This happens once a day.
I use the Video app to stream from my DLNA media server, and the app will always display the picture at 16:9 aspect ratio, regardless of what the actual ratio of the video is. This bug was introduced in the November 2015 update, and it still hasn't been fixed (it's now June 2016).
I tried to give AndroidTV a chance, but given that the implementations vary so widely between vendors, I'm not going to guinea pig myself again.
And with the news about the Shield TV running a Full Plex server with the update later this month, I'm glad I spent the money for the Shield.
Sony 55x850 4k and 2 nexus players. No issues with either. I absolutely love the tv.
