FYI: some BestBuy stores have the Shield TV combo package (device, controller, and remote) on sale for $179

Just a note that I picked up a combo set of the Shield TV and remote for $179. The store I was in had three of them on the shelf.

The BestBuy website does not list the combo package but it has the same part number as the basic Shield TV. Also, the box/packaging of the combo kit is white and was found in the TV section (as opposed to the basic device that has a dark box/packaging found in the gaming area).

Can confirm. In the TV section at best buy. White box. They had 4 of them when I stopped by an hour ago. Includes game controller and remote.

Damn, just bought mine 2 weeks ago for $200 with the remote. Oh well, it's YMMV anyways.
