When we first turn the TV on you often see a message "Internet download failed". If you try and open Netflix, youtube or anything requiring an internet connection you are prompted to setup your WiFi. If however you see the Internet download failed message and wait at least 1 minute and then open netflix it's fine most of the time.
However this doesn't always work and the only fix is either doing a reset on the TV (pulling power out the back) or resetting our router seems to be another fix.
I've done a factory reset on the TV, given it a static IP, made sure it has the latest S/W version. The TV and router are about 4-5 steps apart. Any ideas? http://www.sony.com.au/product/kdl-50w800c
Is it possible to try a cabled connection to see if the same thing happens?
