I remember reading somewhere that Android TV is going to get OTA antenna support. Does this currently work in the N beta?
Thanks!

I remember watching one of the google IO video's on android TV and they did say there will be usb TV tuners but they didn't specify who or when though I'll try to track down the video if I can find it.
also Nvidia showed off a usb tuner just before launching the shield but I didn't see anything further about it.
I have a Sony TV with Android TV built in and I have an antenna hooked up. With Android TV I am able to bring up the channel guide, which shows everything that is on and coming on with the channels labeled much the same as how it looks if you have satellite or cable in that grid style. There is also an app you can download that syncs with your TV and you can then bring up the guide there and pick a show to watch or even turn your phone into the remote and change channels or adjust the volume and all the other functionality that the remote has. The app is called Video and TV Sideview: Quick Remote.
USB tuner support isn't live yet, but is coming
HDHomerun boxes work great, and work now. I have 2 ShieldTV, and one Nexus Player with 1 HDHomeRun Extend (the model that can transcode to h264 if need be).
It shows up as a Live Channel source once you have the SiliconDust app installed and channels scanned.
However I prefer using the 3rd party app called InstaTV over the SiliconDust app. The SD app crashes if you change channels quickly and will prefer the transcoded streams. Whereas the InstaTV app lets you pick which stream you want and changes channels quickly without crashing.
InstaTV also integrates with the Live TV feature.
