Plex is cool but i just want my fucking Vudu library
Plex Media Server is available on the Play Store since 14th July. Now advertisement pop up claiming "now". The struggle is real, Nvidia, just finally release the update...

Shield hub update incoming, could this be a sign?
I bought the 16GB Shield over the weekend because of Plex Media Server coming to it. So far I'm enjoying the Shield. MUCH faster than my Roku 3 and when 3.2 drops, a few more TV apps are coming that my wife and kids want (Watch ABC and the cartoon channels). I just want PMS so I can turn off my PMS Raspberry Pi 3.
I wonder if this will transcode better than my AMD A10-7850k in my server. It probably wont but the other day I was syncing some content using Plex to my Surface Pro for a trip and it turned into a turbine engine while running at 100% cpu for a couple hours.
How are we supposed to get movies into the shield?
This is the reason i just bought my shield. Didn't want to bother with a dedicated HTPC. Can't wait for the update.
Now if they'd only update the horrible android tv player app! It's like an old VCR simulator with it's ff/rw only buttons.
Edit: Guess by the down votes, I'm the odd one out not liking the retro ff/rw & no normal skip ahead & back so many seconds. Strange that there's posts on their site complaining about this very thing & how the app hasn't been updated in ages.
Now if only they would release the update.
