I got a SONY TV from last year. I have no antenna cable attached to it. So everytime I boot it up, it starts with a black blank screen with a error message saying 'no signal'. How do I start up on the Home Screen as default?

What source is the TV on when it starts? Also, is there a home button that you can press on the remote? I do not have a Sony set, so I'm unsure of how it is set up.
I don't believe you're able to control the start-up application on a TV.
My Sony TV always boots to the last input used, which is mostly HDMI1. I have my PS4 plugged in there, I use the PS4 occasionally but not every time I turn on the TV.
There isn't a way to boot to home screen that I have found. (Mine is x810c, 55 inch 4k. . . Year 2015)
You could turn on the ability for the TV to be turned on by other devices in the settings though. Then you can set your other hdmi device to do this as well. So then the tv should boot up and switch automatically to whatever input that device is located on.
For instance. When I turn on my PS3, it turns the tv on and switches inputs to HDMI2, since that's the input is plugged into. If I were to turn off my TV, then turn it on again, it would boot to HDMI2 since that was the last input used. But turning on my PS4 would automatically switch to HDMI1.
