If I want to get rid of my cable subscription and still want live sports what should I buy?

I haven't cut cable yet, but the Fox Sports and ESPN apps are better than watching my cable TV version. More feeds, less compression, and some fun channels that I wouldn't get otherwise (e.g. dash cams from Le Mans)

  1. Android TV or Chromecast
  2. a PC to cast live streams from

Any Android or Windows-based hardware along with Acestream should do the trick!

Supposedly for Sling TV you could make up a fake US Address and use it in Canada.

Look into Playstation Vue, you'll have to do the US IP proxy trick, you can use the Vue login credentials to login to ESPN and other networks websites to view content too.

Unfortunately I had to buy a Roku Stick to create the Vue profile the Android app kept looking for when trying to login.

You're on the right track.
