Is it possible to add 2 game pads with Sony android TV and play 2 player games?? My Sony android TV is registered with my google account and it allows only one game pad to be connected for any android tv games that i have downloaded from google play.

You should be able to pair your device with any Bluetooth device regardless of device account.
It should definitely be possible to play multiplayer games.
