As its been a while since the killer update, and as we all know we can not use the unsupported app store on Pled Shield, has anyone found a way of getting Trakt working? Its the last piece of the puzzle for me to ditch my HTPC, as I sync my on deck with my tablet.
It seems to me if you have root this shouldn't be a problem. Simply drop the trakt plugin in the Plex server directory? I haven't tested this but it should work.
Try this:

and copy it somewhere on the Shield
Use ES file manager with root access to find the Plex plugin directory, it should look something like: plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-ins/
Copy the plugin folder to there, restart the Shield.
Do you mean with the shield acting as the plex server? I haven't tried that, I have a separate backend plex server with the unofficial app store and trakt plugin which then syncs when I watch stuff on my shield but perhaps that's not what you are doing?
I didn't know you couldn't get the unofficial app store working on the shield as a server, any reason for that?
Not having HDHomeRun on my Plex has been killing me.
Same here. Hope they add support for manual plugin installation soon. The server on the shield works surprisingly well.
