Says it has Android 5.1 builds available. Think leanback launcher could be installed? Looking for a cheap media extender while waiting for the rpi3 to get official AOSP support (if it ever actually happens?).
Although 5.1 could be installed the leanback launcher would most likely have unmet dependencies, there's a good amount of services that run behind the scenes that make Android TV work and simply sideloading the apk will result in crashes.
AFAIK the RPi port is the closest possible at the moment and it still misses some key features.
