Need HELP setting up my Air Mouse

Hello this is my first time posting here.

I just gifted my partents a new Samsung smart TV and an android box M8S+. I got this free Air Mouse with the order http://aerb.com/uploads/soft/201406/1_23122651.jpg

I've put the Air mouse USB receiver on to the Android box. The control buttons are working just fine, but as i switch on to mouse function I can't see the mouse cursor moving. I can hear that I'm hovering through all the different icons on the Android hub window though.

If I connect the receiver to the Smart TV - I can see and use the cursor, but I can't navigate once I'm in the Android Box window.

Any advice ?

sell it and buy Nexus Player or Nvidia Shield TV

I happen to have the same remote. The air mouse function works just fine on my nvidia shield and it worked on my mxiii box (which is another android box). Maybe you got a defective remote? Sorry I can't be much help.
