Hey there guys New owner of the Shield TV here. I've read everywhere that Netflix added support for the Universal Search back in June, however it still doesn't appear for me. Even on the "searchable apps" in settings it's nowhere to be found. Any help?
i dont see netflix in universal search either, maybe its only working in US ? i dont know
Yeah, I have Netflix in the universal search, now i wish they would add it to the recommendation row.

Universal search definitely works for me.
Ireland here and no Netflix in Universal Search. Also, voice search seems to be pretty random. Went to search for something last night and wouldn't let me search with my voice. Super annoying!

Yeah, as I see it, only people in the US have it. It's super weird because even though I'm in Portugal, I've sideloaded the Hulu app and the universal search and recommendations work fine.

US here and it works. Maybe it's only in a few languages.
I'm not from the US but I have my phone set to English and when I google search for a movie or something I do get results for Netflix in the search results (this might be because my phone uses the US Google to search because of my phones language) and when I click on them they open directly in the Netflix app.
It's quite possible the Netflix universal search for AndroidTV is USA only, since it's google-powered and thus google has to index Netflix for all the different countries and that's a lotta work (and we know google, they love the US). There might even be a change (I hope this isn't the case) Google wants to wait for Netflix to unify their content for each country, which would save them a lot of work. Netflix talked about this some time ago.

I am definitely getting Netflix results when I do a universal search. Still missing recommendations integration though.
