I just ordered a 2015 Sony 4K tv, but i found the onboard android tv a bit slow (Dual core SOC!), so as an addition, i'm planing to buy a Mi Box (which has quad core, and seemingly much faster).
So, anyone got one?
It's out in Asia already, but obv. lacks Google Play.
New ones not out yet,not even in china
China currently has the latest Mi Box that looks very similar (ports and form factor), and I'm guessing it'll be the base design that the US box follows, but the newest version of the Mi Box is not for sale yet.
So you can't get the Mi Box you're talking about. You can get a Mi Box that has already been on the market though.
Is this the old chinese released Mi Box? Or the new one? I didn't think the new one was out yet?
Your link shows a bunch of different ones. Which one is it?
Those don't appear to be the recently announced Mi Box. While they look the same and use the same CPU, they have 1GB of RAM and 4GB eMMC.
