Watching Youtube, Plex, whatever else and a notification pops up telling me that "Unfortunately the Netflix app has stopped". (I'm using the Nvidia Shield Pro box)
Anyone else experiencing this?
I've even used the "Exit Netflix" option to what I would have thought stopped the app instead of leaving it running, but sure enough I keep seeing the message every so often.
Meanwhile, never had the Netflix app crash while actually watching Netflix. :|
Yup, it's been happening on my Nexus player for at least a week now.
I get that for other apps like HBO Now and Leanback Launcher too.
I've been getting it while playing games too. Seems to be a widespread issue.

This hasn't been happening to me with my Sony Android TV.
Yes me too when I watch my Shield TV, but I haven't yet seen it on my Nexus Player, but I don't use that as much.
Yes, it's happening without even using the Netflix app. I'll be watching something in Kodi, then 40 minutes into an episode I get a pop-up "Unfortunately Netflix has stopped"
I do get it in Netflix periodically, seems to be only in between episodes.
