Is there any way to get this particular app working on android box?
Android TV != Chinese Set-top Box that runs Android
For me all I can do is use my laptop to cast to the tv or hook up my pc via hdmi.
If anyone know how to get the app running on android tv I'd love to know.
I already tried many APK files without succeed.
I have been using Xfinity Go on my Sony TV since early 2016 but in the last few days, it stopped working. After I updated to the latest version, it simply displayed a vague error message. However, after some research, I found out that Xfinity TV app still worked. But you will need to download an older version (anything above version 3 won't work).

Which box specifically? Nvidia Shield, Nexus Player, Razer Forge or ADT-1?
If you are not asking about one of those then this is the wrong forum for your question. This subreddit is for devices running Android TV which a specific port of Android. Any other Android box hooked up to a TV is just running an outdated version of Android meant for tablets or phones.
