Does anyone know if there is a way to get Android TV to auto turn on as an alarm clock. I have found a few older threads about an app called Tasker but I'm hoping that this feature is now embedded in the OS.
e.g. Turn TV on at 6am on this channel at a certain volume level.

A lot of TV's have the capability, but they will only turn on, they still need a source. As for Android TV, I am not sure, as mine is in my living room, and that would not be a useful feature for me, so never looked.

I have this app installed on my Nexus Player, it just rings an alarm until I turn it off but it rings from the TV and is very loud.

Using KDL-50W800C
I use timely which is great, side load the app on the ATV and have it on your phone then set an alarm and it replicates to all of your devices. If you snooze an alarm on one device it does it on all!
