ROM emulation with Android TV adopted interface

by sibb0r

I'm looking for emulators for NES/SNES/N64/PSX with a nice Android TV interface. There's awesome emulators out there, but I've yet to find one with a great interface (preferarable one with game selection with cover art etc.).

Is there any good apps with a custom made GUI/interface for Android TV?

I know it's possible to setup Kodi to include covert art and game selection, but I dislike Kodi. It's so clunky. And ugly itself.

ARC Browser is nice for displaying all your emulators/roms.

Gamesome is similar to arc browser. Both are good but I prefer Gamesome. It's in beta just now but works great...

I used Nostalgia as the frontend to organize and get coverart, then you can install individual emulators from its compatible list

Check out RetroArch. It's a shell that allows you to download emulation "cores" and use them from a unified, Android TV friendly interface.

RetroArch does a good job, although it's not a great UI.

SuperRetro16 has a great cover art view for SNES games
