Sling TV Air TV OTA Tuner coming in September.

Since I Already have Sling TV this will compliment it perfectly. The local channels will be imported if you will into the Sling TV guide. I see a usb port so hopefully that means we can connect a hard drive for dvr funtion.

I think this will be better than HDhomerun because now we won't need to access ota channels from another app. Now if Sling could just integrate live channels it would be perfect.

I don't think this has anything to do with "SlingTV" from Dish. It even has the "slingbox" logo, so I think it is just a really shitty product description that website made up.

If you can't get OTA with a decent antenna now, then that's not going to work. What we need is for them to work with local broadcast stations to stream local channels like PS Vue.

what's the state of affairs with network tuners for ATV in USA? hdhr, sling (this), and tablo? how many currently support dvr-timeshifting capabilites and have a leanback interface and/or live channels?

Dammm that price tho. I was considering getting one untill the price. Its still a one time payment I guess.
