I've been using the Amazon fire stick remote with my Shield, and the Nexus player before that. No microphone. But otherwise works very well.
The shield remote is very nice, it's around $50 USD though. I have one paired with the Nexus player and it works well besides voice search. Should work with the forge
Supposedly you can get a Amazon FIre TV Remote to work with it, I've heard of people getting it to work successfully without any effort.
I can safely say the Nexus Player remote works with it.
Nothing. It's a piece of shit. Buy a shield
Pretty much anything that works via Bluetooth should work.
