As much as I love Google Play Music, their podcast functionality is crap.
I mainly listen in my car, so having it all managed on the device that's always with me is great. If I'm at work and a new episode pops up that I'm interested in, I'll queue it immediately. When I'm home, if I want to listen while I cook or clean, I just cast it.
I'm glad to see this. I'm actively building a podcast application.
I use PocketCast, which does not have an AndroidTV app, but it does have cast capability, which I utilize that.
