Netflix on Sony TV won't play 4k

Hi,

Yesterday I bought a Sony XD93 4k HDR tv, and I've been really happy with it.

But today I decided to try some 4k content on Netflix, I tried an episode of Orange is the new black, but the quality seems worse than even sd. I've the premium plan and I can see the ultra HD tag on the episode. My TV is connected via Lan, and the download speed is over 100 Mbits.

Any suggestions?

First thing to do: Hook up a keyboard to the TV and press F8 to show the stats menu during Netflix playback. It will tell you the resolution you are streaming in.

I would confirm you have the 'Premium' / 4 Screen plan, then also test your peering speed by running a test on www.fast.com . If you don't get at least 25Mbit on fast.com Netflix is gonna throttle your resolution down.

I finally got it working after a full restart of the TV. But for some reason it only play in 1080 when watching Orange is the new black, but 4k with other shows.
