Saving YouTube video to "Watch Later" (or any) playlist? Or bookmarking them in some way?

by FoferJ

There's a great video on the "Recommendations Row" of Android TV. I click to watch it. I'm brought to the YouTube app; I'm logged in and see all of my subscriptions and have access to my history and previously-saved videos. But how do I bookmark this new video, or otherwise save it to a playlist? Surely this is possible? For the life of me I can't find any UI for it. Is "liking" the video really the only way to achieve any kind of "bookmark?"

I'm running Android TV 6.0.1 on Sony Bravia X750D, and have a subscription to YouTube Red, if any of that matters.

No way that I can see either. Also for some reason it doesn't support playlists either - at least none of my saved ones appear anywhere. Google has barely touched this app since its initial release though, I guess they got bored again.

I know it's not a solution but on my shield tv you can see the history. I will start a video and then they appear there.

The best YouTube experience is Google casting it.
