To be clear, the model of TV is called the X1, but it's not powered by an X1 SoC? I got all excited there for a minute. haha

I don't get why people bother with all-in-ones for TVs.

The majority I've seen go unsupported after 2-3 years and the apps (even if they are still popular) no longer work.

I'm looking at you LG Google TV.

4,000 euros for a TCL TV? They're out of their mind. You can buy a 65" Vizio P-series UHD TV, which also has FALD LED, with both Dolby Vision and HDR10, for $2,000.

Avoid this thing like the plague. These are the same TVs being sold as Philips in Europe. They are absolute garbage and have zero support. Not even basic functions, like the remote control, work. And Android TV part is so riddled with bugs as to be unusable - having to pull the plug from the wall multiple times a day, etc.

There is not one happy customer among the hundreds of posters on their support forum. http://www.supportforum.philips.com/en/forumdisplay.php?214-TV-Software-2015-models
