I'm more. Interested in Nougat since I heard it has some built in DVR functionality? I'd love to hook up an external drive to my TV and use it as a DVR for OTA, if such a thing was possible.

What would happen if the new OS is too heavy for the tvs and they become even more laggy (in terms of menu navigation)? Is downgrading possible?

It was supposed to come out in the summer. Nougat is already out and we don't even have Marshmallow. Heh.

Perhaps I'll start developing CM for TV's.
