I'm running ATV on a 55" Sony 4K and I constantly have to delete and redownload the app to get it to work . It just stays in the logo otherwise . I thought they were suppose to be updating the UI to match Apple TV sometime soon . If it weren't for my FireTV stick I would have canceled my subscription.

Works well for me on my nexus player. Occasionally it stutters, but I think it's the nexus because restarting the player fixes it?
I have it running quite nicely on Shield and Nexus Player.
This is a Sony issue, not a sling issue. Contact customer support for Sony.
Same issue for me. I force close it though.
Also works pretty solid for me on my Nexus players and Sony Android TV. I do have occasional issues with my Sony TV though, apps locking up (including SlingTV) or the TV just restarting on its on.
It ran fine on my Sony 4k. Sometimes I might have to force close the app . (Maybe once a week) I haven't used it since the end of basketball season tho.
Its the TV, more than the app. Android Tv's are basically garbage. You're better off with a mibox or Shield if you want the Android Tv experience to be decent.
It has serious UI issues, however, on my Nvidia Shield I have no issues with stability. I am still hoping for a 2016 release of Playstation Vue - thereafter, I will drop SlingTV .
Try just clearing cache and deleting data. I see this occasionally on the Nexus.
Can confirm this fuckery!.......I have the same TV & same issue on my Nexus player as well!
No issues on Shield.
