Whenever I connect my m8 android tv box via an HDMI cable the television becomes unresponsive either with the remote or the actual buttons on the side. I often cant get any picture at all and when I can the volume etc dont work. I can connect a ps3 via the same cable to the same port on the tv and its fine. Anyone got any ideas why?

Sounds like a bad box. Maybe something in the port acting up. Sadly very little support available here because it's not an actual Android TV
Quit being cheap as fuck and also pay more attention to what you buy. You bought a piece of shit that doesn't even run Android tv ya filthy tard.
That's an Android box. We only discuss Android TV devices in here.
I always find these posts funny because it's always something wrong and there's zero support from the "companies" that build these hack-boxes.
