so, no news from google about the androidTV? is it the end for it? can we at least expect GoogleCast in 4K on existing androidTV sets?

I expected my TV to already support 4K streaming. Is that not the case? Sony 810c.
What I really want to know is if my baked-in Android TV and Google Home will play nice or if it's only the Chromecast.
It is a little sad that Android TV didn't rate a single mention during Google's big event today, not even as a cast-receptor for Google Home (although I'd say it can do that). I thought there may be some brief mention of new partners that Android TV has gained recently with the Mi Box specifically talked about. But that really wouldn't have fit in, I guess, as this event was all about "Made by Google".
That's the question here. I haven't seen anything mentioned. In fact, you can't even buy the Shield TV from the Google Play Store anymore.
Seems like it has been turned over to OEM's. I suppose Google will still develop the OS but the products will come from elsewhere.
Considering they just yesterday released a new Android TV device, it's definitely not the end.
