I grabbed the apk from another post on here previously and it was working perfectly fine on my Nexus Player until Vudu updated the app. Now I'm just getting a screen to update and pulling the apk directly from the play store gets me a screen saying that the version is no longer supported.

How do you extract it?
It may be just me, but if Google wants the androidTV platform to flourish, you'd think they'd put a stop to these arbitrary device specific .apks. one shouldn't have to go through hoops like this, especially when an apk can work on any androidTV device.
I can tonight after work if nobody else does prior to that.
