Can anyone recommend a good free NES emulator for the Mi Box? RetroArch doesn't appear to work for me and damn near every other NES emulator I found in the play store is pay only. Rather annoying because pretty much all of these devs ripped code off open source emulators.
If you do get an emulator working, what would you use as a controller? Legit question, I'm looking to do the same when mine arrives today.

I don't have one yet (keep delaying) but isn't the Android TV app store the same as the Play store on your phone? So I think the free nostalgia.nes app is pretty good also I guess if you can sideload NESoid (all the "oid" apps were pretty good but I know haven't been updated in awhile.

Thanks everyone! The confusion came to be because the play store isn't showing very many apps when i search using voice search. I don't know what's going on with that, but i sideloaded using my PC. Only issue I have now is no home screen shortcut.
I have an SNES and NES emulator set up on my mi box and I have a mad catz micro ctrl, which has major lag and also have the same problem with Mario . Can anyone recommend something with no lag?
I've ran NESEmu on Android for a very long time. It works well, but has a noticeable lag. Never have found a way around that.
