So frustrated right now, I was trying to watch the Penguins game by casting the NBC Sports app to my Sony XBR-810C. The experience was awful due to terrible quality, sync issues, and random disconnects. Then in the middle of the second period the stream stopped, I tried to reconnect the app but nothing I do is working. Now I can't cast anything to the TV. I can see the TV as available but nothing happens when I try to connect.
Troubleshooting steps:

Restart TV

Force stopped google cast receiver, restarted TV again

Uninstalled then reinstalled all updates for google cast receiver

Pulled the plug for 5 minutes

Disconnected ethernet cord and connected to wifi

Tried casting from 3 devices
I've called sony support and their only suggestion was to do a factory reset which I'm really trying to avoid. I still don't all have my settings back after the last time I did a factory reset.

I've had a very bad experience with my set as well . Random reboots and casting video sometimes the audio doesn't sync properly . Don't completely regret it as the 4k is nice but wish I had gotten a dumb tv and just bought a nexus player
