Digital Audio cable for MiBox?

by Adzam1

Maybe I've been out of it, but what kind of cable do I need to connect the miBox to my older receiver??

The audio jack on the MiBox looks like it's a 3.5mm headphone jack, but I can see red light coming from it.

Can someone show me how to connect to my older Yamaha receivr that has both RCA digital in and also optical inputs (I believe Toslink)?? Any benefit between the two??

its both a digital TOSlink and an analouge stereo in 3.5mm, combined into the same jack.. for your digital input you'll use an optical cable.

I am using 3.5mm to Stereo RCA because my AVR requires analouge input for its Zones.. I have it providing digital audio over HDMI and analouge Stereo at the same time to my receiver so I can play pandora and my music collection throughout my multi-zone amp.

Thanks for the clarification. I ordered the Mini Toslink to Toslink cable and should receive this week.
