I am subscribed to Verizon's Local Double Play option and I noticed the app pretty much has the channels I would be getting with their STB . Anyway to side load the app onto my Sony AndroidTV to bypass the monthly STB fee?

Well decided to stop being lazy and just try it out
It installs correctly but the UI was meant to navigate with touch obviously so unless you have a Bluetooth mouse paired or the Sony Touchpad remote(Which I am now debating whether to buy now) the app is useless.
