What size USB drive did you use for your expanded internal storage? I've read somewhere the max size it accepts & actually functions with is 64GB..? I've yet to do it myself being I only have a 128GB open & available.
You were able to set a thumb drive as internal storage?? I didn't even get that far, mine gives me the "settings stopped working" error before it completes. What type of thumb drive are you using?
Does the inbox work with USB 3.0 drives? That's the problem I had with my Nexus Player.
I'm also having trouble with this. I have emulators installed on the internal storage on the mibox and I want to have all the Roms I have on my USB thumb drive work with it. I tried setting my USB drive to internal storage and now the mi box doesn't even read the USB thumb drive. It's a new Samsung 32gb USB 3.0 thumb drive. I guess the only way for this to work would be to have the emulators installed to the thumb drive. I did get some Roms to work when I moved them to internal storage but I want access to all my roms and they will not fit on the internal storage. Also anyone have recommendations on good controllers? I got a micro c.t.r.l. by mad catz and there is a lag that makes it impossible to play games like Mario.
I managed to get my Lexar 64GB USB 3.0 stick to work but the performance and the animations of the launcher aren't as fluent as before. Anybody can confirm that?
That is a bug. You will need to go to the apps section under settings and move each app one-by-one.
