I just hooked up my mi box and made sure the resolution was set to 4k but as far as I can tell Netflix isn't streaming in 4k and neither is youtube. Does anyone have advice to get this working?

Several aspects to verify on your side. Does your TV have multiple HDMI ports. Check TV specs to verify you have HDMI 2.0 ports which support HDCP 2.2. You are either lacking sufficient bandwidth or the proper level of Netflix service. Only after making these investigations can you consider your Mi Box to be the source of your issue.
Anyone get an answer on that? I have netflix 4k but doesn't show 4k on the Mi Box. I'm literally switching the HDMI cable out of my nVidia shield to the Mi Box so it should show 4K but it's not.
Just get the HD icon and no ULTRA HD 4K
Same issues here. Just got the box today. I have 4k Netflix subscription and it works on my Vizio. YouTube mi box 4k works but Netflix does not. Can't seem to figure out why Netflix app doesn't stream 4k. Bandwidth is good. I have it installed in a HDCP 2.2 port...
Can't comment on Netflix, but Youtube seemed like some 4k videos would play in 4k, but others wouldn't. I have plenty fast enough DL speeds too. Same thing happens on my YT app built in to the TV though.
