I'm guessing around a few months ago the Netflix app started randomly freezing while streaming on my Shield. The audio will continue playing but the image will freeze. I have cleared the data on the Netflix app and reinstalled multiple times with no luck.
Anyone experience this issue and know of a fix?
It's completely unusable after the 3.3 update. Hopefully it's resolved by Netflix soon.
Did you ever get this solved? Mine is doing the same thing... it will either freeze completely and keep playing audio, or sometimes it freezes just for a second and then keeps playing except the video and audio will be out of sync. I always have to stop the video and then start it again to fix.
Not happening often but it is annoying.
I don't know of a fix, and I don't use Netflix on my Shield, but have had the Netflix app FC when it's not even being used. I believe I launched SPMC, and seconds later received an error message of the Netflix FC.
I know it's not a solution for someone using Netflix, but I disabled the app.
