Can I use the (awesome) keyboard from my old Logitech Revue with the nvidia Shield?

The Revue, for all its failings, had a [fantastic wireless keyboard.] ( http://www7.pcmag.com/media/images/237889-logitech-revue-with-google-tv-keyboard-remote.jpg )

Anyone successfully used it with a Shield? I think I read once that it could be paired with a standard Logitech dongle thingy.

Yes. Download Logitech unifying receiver desktop software. Pair with revue keyboard. Plug usb into shield; voila! I've successfully done do with my nexus player and revue keyboard.

Been using it since day one. Still going strong from Google TV to Android TV stick, now Android Tv

You may lose some funtionality, like the input selection and universal remote functions, but it does everything else very well once paired with the dongle.

I remember reading a way to make the trackpad tap to click, but that gets lost every reboot.

It's bluetooth, you should be able to follow the pairing process on Logitech's site . The Revue side instructions would just be replaced with going to the bluetooth settings on the Shield and pairing.

I used my Sony Google TV keyboard/remote with my Nexus Player. Only problem is the touchpad was some custom Sony driver implementation and doesn't work anywhere but their box. Keyboard and remote keys still work.
