Want/Need a way to load Roku channels on Android TV

by raum_dellamorte

What I'm looking for is a Roku emulator and/or Brightscript interpreter app for Android TV. I want to effectively load up Roku as an app so I have access to channels that are only available on Roku. There is a Roku app for android, but it's a remote control for a roku, not a way to watch Roku channels on android.

I haven't found anything yet to suggest I'm not the first person to have thought of it. I have an NVidia Shield TV and I love it dearly, but adding Roku channels would add a lot of content.

99.99% of the thousands of Roku channels are garbage. What is it specifically you're looking for?

So you want someone to write a script to port copyrighted Roku apps to Android to run in an emulator? Why not email the developer of the Roku app you want and see about getting them to write an Android TV version? Probably more feasible.

If you tell me what channels you want, I can see about porting them to PuppetMaster.TV. I already have a lot of them in the REKODI repo and the new SCRAPEY repo has the Livestream channels.
