Help connecting Charter account to apps (FoxSportsGo, HBOGo, etc.)

by mfGLOVE

I am able to download the app, and go online to activate, but Charter is never listed as an option to connect accounts. The Charter website explains that these apps should be available for Charter customers but I don't see the option. WatchESPN was the only app that offered Charter and I was able to connect no prob.

Is there something simple I am missing? I thought maybe using my Charter credentials with the Time Warner option might work, but no, it did not. Any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks.

EDIT: Contacted FoxSportsGO help and they said that Charter does not support FoxSportsGo for Android TV. I have no clue why but it appears that Charter is holding out on multiple Android TV apps for their subscribers. Very disheartening.

I had the same issue with FoxSportsGo on my Nexus player. All other cable providers listed with the exception of Charter. Oddly enough, when I go to the web version of FoxSportsGo on a Windows machine, it has the Charter login. Not sure if this is a bug or something on Charter's side.

Might need to take a duel attack approach for support. Contact the developer by finding the app in the Play Store and use the email address provided. Contact Charter also to let them know of the issue.

Charter doesn't support access to HBO through the Android TV platform. I can't speak to the other services, but I know HBOGO is a NOGO on Android TV through Charter. If you find a way around this, please let me know. Sucks.

Don't feel too left out. Comcast also doesn't support Android TV, at least for HBO Go. (Don't know about the rest since I only get locals+HBO)

Can you at least cast from an Android phone/tablet?
