You can cast from an Android device using the official app I'm pretty sure.
Yes its possible.. Runs fine on Nexus Players / MiBox / Nvidia Shield. The best way to use it is sideload the APK of Acestream and use Kodi. For Kodi you would need to install the Plugins Plexus (used to interface acestream) and Castaway ( it parses many sites for live p2p acestream links, including subreddits like /r/nflstreams /r/nbastreams etc )
it does or it did work. I had it working but it wasnt the best interface. So now i have it installed on my android tablet, and cast it to my nexus player. That works well. I find it better, because I can also turn on vpn easily on my tablet and then kick off the stream. Also copy pasting the content id into acestream is a lot easier on the tablet than on my nexus player.
