Has anyone seen this error? I just tried amazon video for the first time on my Sony 700D after performing a software update, and now I can't connect to the service, failing immediately upon opening the app. It works fine from my TiVo, however.
The error code is not listed in their error database , and there aren't many helpful results on google.
SOLVED: per /u/BillEndure, clearing the app system data or de-registering the device in Amazon resolves the issue. After doing so, you are prompted to re-register the device, which restore normal functionality.
You will need to clear the data from the amazon video App then log in back. you will need your email and password. Go to settings>Apps>System apps>Amazon Video> Clear Data.
