I think it will. They explicitly showed a TV-based UI (not just Chromecast) on LeEco TVs which run Android TV.
They announced support for "Android phones and tablets", but not Android TV. Maybe someone will get the Fire TV app to work?

I wish the shield had an HDMI in like the Xbox so I could plug a Fire or Apple TV into it for all the apps we don't get.
They have stated that it works with Chromecast, so while maybe not having a native app, it will be playable via casting to Android TV devices. I haven't seen an official word from AT&T that they will have a native Android TV app, so like nearly every other service, we might have to wait a while before they develop one.
