Isn't the LeEco compatibility going to be via casting? From the press release:
"Google Cast-enabled LeEco ecotvs and VIZIO SmartCast Displays."
Leeco TV owner here. Still no app. Based on their twitter page it looks like it may be a standalone app? But, their customer service is about as good as the DMV so no point in asking for help. Screenshot
I casted from my lg7 using the app to my mibox with one click on the cast icon
Looking forward to a native android tv app, but it is doable and quality so far seems ok to my old eyes.
I got an email from leeco offering 12 months of free directtv now. I signed up on the ecopass app and it shows only 3 free months available. I contacted customer service and they are acting dumb...
The service is available for signups already. I signed up for the AppleTV Promo and cancelled my other subscription streaming services to give DTV an honest go.
App on mobile is one of the better ones I've used. Interested to see how ATV device support will roll out.
