Twitch app logging me out every few hours

Is anyone else having an issue with this?

I activated Twitch on my Mi Box this morning, but this evening it's lost my login and needs to reactivate. It's been doing this constantly ever since I got the box last week.

App is version 4.5.5 updated July 27

Same on my bravia tv, i stopped using the app and switched to kodi twitch plugin which works way better
